Geez, that's a really hard question, Sandwichman. Like, where to begin? In which sense?

I never liked my mother-in-law (I had no problem with my dad-in-law, RIP); but I never hated her. Do I not-like her more than I actively dislike, say, Hitler?

For a fact, I never liked David Landes, Harvard Economic historian. I used to stand up in his class of 400 and argue with him in Berkeley, 1958. Landes thought that the French peasants were fools for burying their gold in their backyard. Obviously, they had never heard of "Bretton Woods".

i was never a fan of 'boston' (the band) and also steely dan. (u shouldah seen what happened when they kicked us out of an iggy pop show in boston. 'baby dont u cry i'll sing u a lullabye cuz we're walking down the streets of chance and the chances are always slim or none' (the idiot)---i did get to see the clash (first usa show, w/bo diddley) ramones, talking heads, ramones (w/chuck berry---duckwalk); johnny thunder (its not enough, u can't put your arm around a memory---he was a bit trashed which was his end in new orleans ). Deser i think still at brandeis is quite good (General Relativity). The Modern Lovers ---Jonathon richmond ---of boston were great but i just know em from albums.
